In reply to the discussion: Watch Barbara Boxer have a total meltdown when Bernie Sanders fans boo her at Nevada convention [View all]stuffmatters
(2,574 posts)30. What's she doing in NV. In Ca I've never seen her south or east of LA.
I lost a lot of respect for Boxer when she wouldn't even come to San Diego during the catastrophic fires a few years ago.
More recently when she & Rand Paul proposed a bill to "repatriate" the trillions in offshore corp profits at 6.5% (vs 35% the legal rate) . I think it holds the record for lowest proposed tax percentage of all...with the exception of the antitax corporate bottomfeeders at zero, of course.
I might be mistaken but I believe Boxer's daughter married Hillary's brother. So it's both personal and political for Boxer and might explain why her overreaction here.

Yup, voted for her many times, & I've had it with her and Corporate Democrats.

All I can say is, no wonder Democrats have a problem in Congress if that is the way

If Hillary wants the votes of us Bernie supporters, she sure has a strange way of showing it.

You don't go to a day where they are still figuring out the totals and lobby for one candidate or
