NO animals will be allowed in those shelters. You can not take service animal into ANY kind of emergency shelter ( except animal shelters ) even now. If you are blind and have a guide dog and just escaped your abusive husband you will have to leave your guide dog outside and they might not even want you to leave it outside of the building. I have a friend who is blind and has knew a lady who needed an emergency shelter and they would not accept her dog or allow her to keep it outside of the building. It was winter and freezing. I will stay home and die with my animals.
