1. I thought she'd be rich and living a wealthy existence somewhere, but she's not.

Saw her in an interview. She was living a modest life in a small, ordinary apartment. She wasn't not poor, but she said she was making it fine and had a nice life. Not rich.

I guess when you make a lot of money early on, you don't know to invest it and save for a rainy day? Or your financial person doesn't guard i? What a shame. She must've made millions with her hit songs and appearances.

I also just read that she now lives in a nursing home because she was diagnosed with dementia in 2015. But there's an interview where she says that isn't true. And in the interview on youtube, and the one I saw previously, she certainly seems as sharp as a tack.
