Ever drive across he Midwest? Booooooring! I've driven across the USA multiple times...north to south, west to east and back...and there is NO reason not to have bullet trains across Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and nearly ALL the other states in the Midwest. They can also be built across mountains and rugged terrain, but at a much greater expense.

I HATE flying anymore. At one time it was fun and exciting. Now, it's frightening, stressful and a real discomfort. Get with the Twenty-first Century, USA!!
