A year after his death, video for Tom Petty's "Gainesville" is released. [View all]
A nice tribute by the singer to his hometown.
If you've ever been to Gainesville, you'll see references to Petty everywhere. Multiple murals, signs, artwork, craft beers, etc.
They're holding a birthday tribute concert in his name there later this month.
They're almost as proud of Petty as they are of Gators football in Gainesville. And that's not easy to do.
