7. I wonder if they had a "lookout" with binoculars... or, maybe just a police scanner.

I feel your pain, sorry you had to go through that, but glad that it's over.

In our parts, people get a free warning... then fines for repeat occurrences (on the same day). Next month's party will be a free warning, then fines.... and so on.

But, 2nd offenses will get a $500 citation... so that's good incentive to STFU.

Unfortunately (fortunately) 911 won't handle noise complaint calls... so it goes to the non-emergency dispatch (which, today, meant a 10 minute hold). --- I totally get it. It's NOT an emergency, so I won't complain about that.

But, I'm grateful that they DO respond (eventually) and they do have the weight of the law with county ordinances that aren't limited to night-time hours only.

Music is one thing but when they drive down the bass so low that my entire home vibrates, hlthe2b May 2019 #1
