11. No lookout - the approach to their house is in clear view to the road

I've only called 911 once - that was for a riding accident in which a woman had a very badly broken arm. Even when I thought someone was shooting in our woods I called the non-emergency number. (The deputy that responded also thought it was gunfire, but it turned out to be firecrackers in the new subdivision to the east.)

At least the dispatch number here is generally not a hold, they pick up pretty fast.

I don't know what the charge levels are here. I do know that there is a noise ordinance. But that first time I wouldn't have called it in if my clients had not complained. I would have bitched and moaned about the noise, but just closed the windows and lasted through it. Or taken that evening to go into to town.

Music is one thing but when they drive down the bass so low that my entire home vibrates, hlthe2b May 2019 #1
