too close to me. I asked her if she could please back up because she was too close to me. I didn’t say it in an aggressive way. She took offense and kept saying, “well, you are in the store” (meaning if you want to be careful you shouldn’t be here). I said that I was sorry if I offended her, I just wanted to maintain a distance from others of at least 6 feet. She really wasn’t impressed with my apology. It was unpleasant and I will not be going to the store for a while, maybe not for a long while.
On the other hand, don’t beat yourself up! We are dealing with something so foreign and new, we all are having a difficult time figuring it out. Be kind to yourself and stay well!
