In the elementary school our sons attended, everyone played the recorder in 4th grade, and there were concerts. Unless you were tone deaf, could pretty well count on them being unpleasant to listen to.

I used to puzzle over he parents who recorded these performances, thinking, “Are you really going to listen to that AGAIN?
