27. I missed the first day..

... of the first grade (my first day in school, we didn't have kindergarten back then) after having the bad luck of having my thrown rock actually hit a huge yellow-jacket nest full on.

A swarm of them chased me and bit me mostly on the upper face. My eyes swole virtually shut.

Of course I learned a valuable lesson, I don't throw rocks at wasps nests any more.
