56. High-water pants.

I was the youngest of 7 in a low-income family. I either got well-worn hand-me-downs from my older brothers or clothes from the Salvation Army.

Those high-water pants, sometimes higher than the top of my socks, were the most embarrassing thing in the world to have to wear to school.
