My birthday yesterday was less then great [View all]

Awhile ago, my ex had asked me to drive her to her appointment with her psychiatrist which happened to be on my birthday. A two hour drive. As a treat, she said she'd pay for whatever I wanted from the dollar menu at a McDonald's. We laughed about that and I said sure, I'd be happy to.

Well, yesterday we went and she was not in one of her better moods. I got yelled at on the way there over very little stuff. Even when I pulled in front of the hospital so she could get out and I'd then go look for a parking spot, she stood outside with the door open and yelled at me for a bit. We had been talking about when her eldest got his first vehicle and apparently I was wrong about the time that took place and it set her off. She then slammed the door shut, walked into the hospital as I drove to the parking lot.

As I sat in the vehicle and smoked three cigs in a row, I thought to myself that this was about the suckiest b-day I've ever had. After sometime, I saw her come out of the hospital and I drove up to where she was at. She got in and told me that her doctor said her medication needed adjusting. I silently thanked God.

The 2 hour drive back was much better and I really did enjoy the food we got from the dollar menu at McDonald's which I ate as I drove
