I have a difficult time recognizing boundaries...

But if the OP is not something totally outrageous, and you add a post stating why you rec'd it...I don't see how anyone can accuse you of shit-stirring. Would you care if someone did?

I guess it all comes down to how much effort you want to devote to the matter. I do know that some threads would not receive a rec from me no matter how good the exchanges within the thread...but there aren't that many I find so totally worthless.

If I may ask, what brought this to mind?
