(28,117 posts)29. today's my son's 27th birthday
He's almost completed all requirements fr a PhD in theoretical high energy/particle physics at J. Hopkins U. He's in his 5th yr of grad school there. He's worked so hard on his research and has done some great work there while, at the same time, he's gotten a patent and formed a company on the side!
Sounds great, right? But on the downside:
He's a hopeless romantic who desperately wants to meet the right girl but sadly, after ~dozen or so failed relationships, he's depressed and close to giving up. ( He's remained friends with several of his ex g.f.). I think he'd trade a degree or two for the right woman. Too much info?
