3. Giovanni Carmazzi was drafted by the SF 49ers in the 2000 NFL Draft

A local Bay area resident was also available in that draft. He played the same position as Giovanni, QB. The local kid grew up a huge Joe Montana fan, and he loved the 49ers. But, the 49ers overlooked the local kid. They rejected him. Took Giovanni over him.
