As someone who's seen the effects of Alzheimer's first hand, I'm very moved by this. I've never feared death, but after my father's (I was his caretaker) and grandfather's final years, I'm absolutely terrified of senility. If and when I'm diagnosed, I hope I'll have the courage to do what needs to be done and spare my family.
