46. The Merv Griffin episode.

Grew up in a home that had Merv on all the time. It was the kind of thing I'd expect from SCTV (they did a sketch called "The Merv Griffith Show with Rick Moranis ("Merv&quot channeling Andy Griffit from the Andy Griffith Show).

A lot of Seinfeld episodes, both legendary and forgettable, were cut from somewhat the same cloth. But the "Merv" episode was so surreal, so weird, really unlike anything else they did.
