Poll: What is cuter? Human or animal babies?

1. I have had two human babies.

I thought they were absolutely adorable (and I was never a big "baby" person before they were born). However, the cutest human baby in the world is no match for the ugliest kitten in the world, in my opinion. Same goes for bunnies, otters, goats, bears, elephants, etc.

I always think it's interesting that many of us find the babies of other species much cuter than the babies of our own species. It seems like it should be hard-wired into us to think that our own species absolutely has the most adorable offspring. Not so, though. And, let's face it, a lot of our newborn bald primate young are just not that cute ... and dare I say ... ugly.
