I learned of this song just today, thanks to a friend who'd heard it used as background music in a TV show. In researching it, I saw the references to 5x2. That looks like a poignant movie about intimacy, longing, and loneliness. The song evokes the same feelings.
I was instantly hooked by the infectious melody and beautiful chords -- not to mention Paolo Conte's passionate, gravelly singing voice! I bet I could sing like that too, if I hadn't quit smoking several decades ago.

I haven't tried to learn it yet (amateur pianist here), so I don't know if these are accurate representations of the song, but this is at least maybe a good start.
