Found this little guy in the backyard while weeding. [View all]

Brought him in, refrigerated him for 15 minutes and posed him on my tablet screen. Used my standard macro setup; 60mm macro with on camera flash with softbox. Once you get the lighting right the setup is so easy. Turn the flash on, set fstop to 22 and move in 'till the subject is in focus. Beautiful consistent light.

When finished I put him back where I found him and watched him warm up before scurrying away.
