it was in a Marin newspaper. So of course the story is going to focus on that area. I hope things are better for everyone, but time will tell.

But let me be clear about one thing. This shut off program will possibly prevent some fires. But it's main purpose is to protect PG&E from liability. There are still lots of other ways for fires to start, as we have clearly seen in recent weeks. I hope we have seen the worst for this year and years to come, and I hope every one stays safe. I have been evacuated twice in the last five years, and the fires were not caused by any PG&E equipment. Thankfully we came back to an intact home and neighborhood.
