Halloween in Georgetown [View all]

For Halloween during college in the mid 80s, we'd always go to Georgetown, wander the streets drinking, and watch all the people in costumes.

Now that we are in out late 40s, we where wondering if the Georgetown streets still fill up with costumed revelers? Would it happen on Wednesday the 31 or some other date? What time does it begin? Any good place to have dinner and drinks and watch the humanity? Or would going back be madness of traffic, drunken kids, and long lines?
