There is no need for Cuomo to debate Perry but I would not fear debating Goodhair. Goodhair is not a great debater and tried to hide from debates in the past. Goodhair refused to debate Bill White in 2010 (Bill is a very good trial attorney and so this was a smart decision).

Goohair is trying to show that he is not afraid of debates by making a challenge that he knows that Cuomo will not accept and need not accept.
