El Paso population - 674,000
Abilene population - 120,000
Midland population - 124,000
Odessa population - 110,000

A nuclear waste handling high level radioactive waste - significant to those that live nearby and for the people that live on the routes transporting that waste (such as I-20) which goes through Fort Worth and Dallas. Yes, I think my fellow Texans want to know about it and believe it or not, it isn't the middle of nowhere.
