3. My experience with a Republican election judge was much the same.

I was the election judge in my precinct for two cycles until the GOP discovered I was a Dem. Texas assigns election judges by party based on voting records of ballots cast for Governor/precinct, so it was legal for them to replace me. First the SOB couldn't find the polling place and we were late getting polls open. Second he didn't know the basic rules of what could be done regarding ballots, i.e. issuing replacement ballots for mis-marked votes, who can be in the booth with a voter and why, etc.

I couldn't deal with it so I quit after the second election cycle.

When I went to vote I found the 'no electioneering beyond this point' within 25' of the polling place. Supposed to be 100' but the fat assed bastard was too lazy to walk that far. Yeah, really.
