...relieved, happy, proud to have the wonderful Ms Merkel. She is an extraordinary leader ( however, she not beyond reproach). Great Britain will feel its pain...

A part of our problems are consequences of their obduracy. For 40 years they kept undermine the European efforts to fit their ultraliberalism views.

The result of the last referendum caught them by surprise. In fact, it was more a political move in the aim to put more pressure on Europe and try to take the benefits to be in the EU and avoid the inconvenients... Its the biter bit.

They tried to negociate a "hard brexit" but they hit a snag...they did not expect a united Europe standing in front of them. They tried to negociate separatly with each, again following their historically behavior , swimming in murky waters...

The first move of the rest of EU was to choose a negociator who will talk in the name of all.

During months Theresa May tried to make an "all in one" negociation...again they have been screwed over.

The sad part is that British have not been informed of the real consequences. A lot had barely a idea of what is really EU, how much countries,...
UKIP which advocated so strongly and stupidly for the brexit, washed their hands of it literally the next day following the referendum. The master clown Farage said he has done his work so now, he resigns...
The anticipated elections (another bright move for Britsh... but an excellent one for us) inflicted them a stinging defeat.

The GB economic growht was the highest in Europe at the time of the referendum. One year later it is the lowest...

They might end staying in EU. I really don't see them leaving, specially in our era. We live in a globalized world. It is a foolish move to think a country on its own can survive.

I remember Trump congratulating GB for the "great result" of referendum...

At least, Trump provided us something good : we avoided the Deutch and French assholes Wilders and Le pen. Thanks God !!

I know it is not a consolation for you and Trump is still a great threat to the world but...

I hope I have made a decent reply, not too much "word salad"...
