....the police there aren't constantly in the business of protecting against people who are brainwashed, paid, & glorified to be martyrs by an enemy (just a few miles away) to kill their citizens.

Let's not even pretend the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, etc... would act more restrained or more "civil" than Israel if that were the case.

There is no comparison.

In times of war WRT civilians, Israel already is more restrained & "civil" than all other western nations.
