Funny you should mention it, because one of the places I've worked in the past, far more "blue" area (Davis, Ca) has quite a number of Muslim employees, who always regarded me with 100 times the professional respect, perhaps "disapproval" of my lifestyle, but never would make the disgusting comments and life-threatening innuendos I'm dealing with here.
