1. If anyone is looking for a dog consider adopting a greyhound

When the track in the neighboring county closed in 2011, dozens of greyhounds were put up for adoption. I saw many people with newly acquired dogs that were happy and well trained for years afterwards. While I no longer have dogs, I know that they make great pets and many in Florida will need homes.
