Sometimes it seems he just tolerates Shadow when she barks at him for no discernible reason. But on occasion we'll see some subtle teasing from KC which pushes the dog's buttons. She appears to play rough with him, but he gets in some solid jabs with his paws.

In this moment seen here I think KC was racing Shadow for the gate, because he can slip beneath it and she can't!
