14. My boys love dry food

Got them (brothers) as kittens from a family that only fed them dry Purina Kitten Chow. Our vet prefers they eat wet food especially as Charlie is a bit “portly” and, like people, the carbs in dry food can add weight. After trying countless varieties of wet food we found they’ll eat Fancy Feast Naturals Chicken and Gravy, so they get 2 cans a day of that and a bedtime snack of .5 cup of dry (Purina One Indoor Advantage). DH is in charge of the bedtime snack and they start following him around early in the evening to make sure he doesn’t forget. They gobble it down like they haven’t eaten in weeks. Unless he gets to the bottom of the bag and there’s crumbs in it. They hate crumbs and will pick at it gently til one of us realizes the problem and opens a new bag. Picky, picky.
