The breed comments were quite often ignorant and negative. You never say such things about a breed, you could really destroy their popularity. whoever wrote them needs to find a new job in advertising.

Also, I was appalled at the politics playing out in a number of breeds. The dogs shown were not anywhere near top quality for the breed, but since they were shown by long time AKC shower/breeders, they would win best of breed anyhow. Friends tell me that is the norm, but it was more blatant this year, IMO.
