(1,363 posts)OK, let's do this:
Every State should have laws that make ANY and ALL gun owners take a mentality test to assure that they aren't mentally challenged. They should also make every gun 'owner' take a course where they would have to shoot and contain their shots within a certain targeted area. They should also have to do this, and then have to repeat this process to keep your arms ...every 3 years. Licenses should cost $500 per year minimum, and ammo should be a minimum of $100 per bullet. This of course would allow ammosexuals to really, really enjoy their 'hobby', while assuring that those of us who do not need guns and who do not live in constant fear, that these guns and ammo could readily be traced to the 'gun owner'.
Insurance companies should charge a premium and be 100% liable for their customers who engage in gunnery. I'm thinking $1,000 bucks per year , per weapon is about right, and no real 'gun owner', who really loves their guns, would disagree!
There's plenty more ideas, and the Second Amendmentality has to change before we can move forward without fear.
Personal note: Fuck the NRA....and ban all guns.
