is not only based on grossly bad argument, smear, and self-destructive politics (they focus here on other Democrats), but also on boring repitition. As some of them have noted, they have to wait on a mass murder in order to get an increasingly weak MSM to slowly crank out the same "studies," biased reporting, op eds, and dated cartoons. A few (as has been reported here) openly advocate taking advantage of some tragedy in order to promote their prohibitionist doctrine.

IMO, the gun controllers would be persona non grada in most liberal circles if it weren't for MSM's dogged efforts to equate gun control with liberalism, when instead this prohibitionist outlook is quite ill-liberal.
