4. Respectully, there is more to it than "mind-numbing figures."

If ever there was a case for a "Gunz Everywhere!" discussion Anywhere in DU, this was it. But, no: fear is stoked among those who see violence lurking in their just-so coffee enfused world. And that fear comes from the CelebroKillers who follow trends in the culture. What happens in a Houston ward and a Chicago slum seems of little concern.

Houston killer: 8

LA theater killer: 2

LA Airsoft/hatchet theater blowhole: 0

You be the judge of the coverage in DU, even when a posting of the Houston killings is made. I find the "outpouring of compassion" infuriating!
