6. Cartoons... Never forget the cartoons!

Apparently, the need for interactive persuasive discussions with facts and figures has been mostly replaced by cartoons (usually the same cartoons recycled over and over). I believe gun controllers get bonus points if a cartoon references the infamous "NRA Talking Points©."
