Let's stop playing the blame game! [View all]
Most everyone can fall victim to the blame game. Some folks find it easy to fixate on an attribute that certain perpetrators share with other uninvolved people and spread the blame to that group. In this case it's pretty obvious that the perps I'm referring to are criminals using firearms. Some, not all, of the pro-control folks like to blame all gun owners for those crimes.
I don't blame all Muslims for al-qaeda. I don't blame all Christians for the Westboro Baptist Church. (I do blame Republicans for the high price of beer but that's another story.)
Is there anyone in the "blame all gun owners camp" that would like to defend their logic?
Is there anyone that wants to admit that they blame all gun owners for violent crime where firearms are used?
