Congrats to Florida State, who went on a great run through the losers bracket to make the championship series! Congrats to all the other teams, who put on a tremendous show in what was perhaps the greatest WCWS ever, from the pitching and hitting of Odicci Alexander to the perfect game by Montana Fouts.
And congrats especially to Jocelyn Alo, G Juarez, and the Oklahoma Sooners, who dominated the sport all season and then, after being pushed to the brink of elimination in Game 1 of the WCWS against JMU, went 6-0 in elimination games to battle back and claim the title, and stake their claim as one of the greatest teams in the history of the sport.
