12. Someone had to bring funds into the church for it to grow

Paul's skill was in bringing in funds from the rich Romans and Greeks, but in order to do so he had to find a loophole in the circumcision requirement. Few adults were going to risk death from infection or important bits falling off after such a procedure. So Paul just pretended the holy poltergeist whispered in his ear and told him He didn't care about foreskins anymore. Problem solved. The best part is Christians today get to eat ham while still self-righteously claiming homosexuality is a sin (even though the Talmud didn't say so). Thanks, Paul!
