we have become a world of zombies indeed.

My SO and I are trying to outwit the kids out of electronics. Now that we have done much of the damage and started it to begin with, we realized a while ago that it was only going to get worse, not better. Our kids have no iphones...but gameboys and such are just as bad(my mom gave my daughter a kindle fire for x-mas and she literally disappeared for about a month!).

With the weather changing and some new kids next door to play with, they are motivated to play basketball and trampoline more, i even heard of some planned 'excursion' to explore the nearby meadow with treasure map in hand. They are 10 & 11...and the littlest is 6 and was much worse due to my SO's ex wife's inattentiveness. I am so grateful that we both woke up and decided to shift things. Reality is so much more important.
