VT - I would agree that the 2 states do not have many similarities.
If this was about the GE I would agree that being from VT would not help Bernie. I am not so sure of that in the Democratic Primary.
I would suggest that the 2000 GE in NH where Nader voters made the difference between Bush winning vs Gore is more of a sign that Bernie has a benefit in NH than his being from VT.
