I reside in a Super Tuesday state, and I just early voted on the first day of early voting in my state for Senator Bernie Sanders.

I have been paying attention to politics for as long as I can remember, and I was sold on Senator Sanders from the moment that he decided that he would give a run for it. I hope that any black progressives reading this post will join me in voting for Senator Sanders. To me, his candidacy is transformational (even more than President Obama's), and I honestly believe that if we really want our country to be better, we have to be serious about the candidate that we bring into the general election. To me, the two characteristics that always influence my vote for any candidate are honesty and consistency. Bernie Sanders has been both of these for all of his political life.

To me, Senator Sanders is the only serious choice for not only our party, but also for our country.
