The major argument I've heard against Santorum is the name, which is good for giggles, but this kind of school yard stuff (his name means POOP!) doesn't disqualify him in the mind of sober grownups after the giggle. The fact that the left is impaired at the art of providing serious grownup critiques of this guy tells me that after the laughs, being where he is, he is very strong. Don't be surprised if this guy takes it, without a sober critique from us because we can't stop giggling.
