33. Sanders has nothing to do with the rude and uncivil content

of your posts. You have SEVEN HIDES and frankly should have more. I have bluntly called you a misogynist based on the insult of implying ANYONE on this board has a problem with "smart, successful women" and that is just one of the incredibly SLIMEY things you have said to posters.

The idea behind a hide is to let you know the content of your post is INAPPROPRIATE on DU. Your opinions and posititions are NOT the problem - the fact that you seem to be taking your STYLE from Donald Trump with personal attacks and vile insults IS.

Everyone has a bad moment or two when it may be necessary to walk away from the keyboard, and the "Trash & Ignore" features exist for a reason. HOWEVER, if you are really here to engage in DISCUSSION, I am telling you - as a total stranger on the internet, who has participated on this message board with some reasonable success - that insulting other people is NOT APPROPRIATE.

It makes you sound like a junior high school TROLL instead of a reasonable adult.

That may be the image you wish to project, but I doubt it.

And behaving with courtesy and respect to those with different opinions has NOTHING to do with either Hillary or Bernie. It is about how YOU demonstrate your civic responsibilities.

Lecture done, with one last bit: I think you owe several people an apology. If you would like to take a moment (because maybe I got through to you?) and do that - either via PM or in public, I will be happy to self-delete this scolding. If not, I will leave it, and use your behavior as incentive to start a petition to permanently ban posters who simply cannot behave with basic courtesy. I will use YOUR POSTS as an example of the egregious abuse of the existing hide clemency program.
