2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Sanders: The Lie Exposes The Emptiness [View all]mhatrw
(10,786 posts)44. LOL. The Clinton campaign coordinated the entire Sanders NYDN interview smear.
The Clinton campaign announced its intention to "destroy and disqualify" Sanders.
The Clinton campaign proceeded to use Sandy Hook victims as props to smear Sanders. Clinton said Sanders should apologize to the victims of Sandy Hook.
Sanders fought back by saying Clinton was unqualified to be President based on her lack of accountability for her disastrous stances on many of the most important issues that the USA has faced over the last 20 years.
But Sanders is doomed because Clinton simply strongly implied he was unqualified to the point that corporate media headlines declared she had stated that?
It's "gotcha" vs. got accountability.

I have yet to see anyone from the campaign saying their goal was to “disqualify” and “defeat him.”

Aren't candidates supposed to "defeat" their opponent. What does "disqualify" mean and who said it?

You are contradicting yourself. If it was a mistake based on a misleading headline,
