but it might take another Great Depression to get it.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of gullible people in the country and this is the era of Citizens United and non-stop propaganda. It will be very difficult for a true reformer like Sanders to get elected without a major social/economic disaster, which will inflict great pain and suffering on the American people.
