where Hillary got paid not much of anything for the time she spent on it. I doubt if she even got reimbursed for any of the experts she consulted. There's no incentive for taking a court-assigned Defendant except that you're required by law to do it. You waste your time, your money, your emotions and, eventually (here years later) people criticize you for having done it.
