This doesn't have anything to do with anyone's right to work being undermined.
Every person in New York is voting exactly as they CHOSE to vote. When they registered to vote in New York they were told that if they registered as Independents they could not vote in the primary. THEY CHOSE to exercise their right to vote as Independents who can't vote in the primary.
