5. If he is not the nominee and the Dems take back the Senate....

He should throw his hat in the ring and run for Senate Majority Leader. A position of real power to set the agenda for the Senate going forward. Once the dust settles that would be the absolute best place for him to land. If not that Bernie and Elizabeth Warren tag teaming on the banking committee would be pretty nice to see as well. If anything else he has gained more influence in the Senate than he ever could have imagined. Let the chips fall where the may. Bernie will continue to fight for us no matter where he ends up.
