(6,551 posts)I'd like to see the evidence of Clinton's 'vicious reputation for vengeance' as so many of the shots about Clinton lack the facts to support them, IMHO.
I think Warren has always been her own individual so if there was pressure, and again that's purely conjecture, she wasn't bothered by it. She's too independent for that.
I don't think she would favor a Bernie nomination because she knows that Bernie has not been thoroughly vetted, as Clinton has over many years. I've researched Bernie's biography and there is enough there to guarantee he wouldn't have a chance in the general. Too many relationships with Marxists, Communists, Sandinistas, honeymooning in the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Too many sensational newspaper columns and videos of his speeches.
The media hasn't done its job because a real horserace is very profitable for them, and there's not been a peep from the Republicans.
Have you and other Bernie supporters wondered about that? The Repub Pacs have spent millions on anti Hillary ads in her primary states, but not a negative word about Bernie. Well, the Repubs have done their research and they know that Bernie would be easy pickings for them.
Warren's too smart for all that. Her own self interest is her issues that she champions and her own political future. She knows better than to endorse Sanders. She knows that if she did, she would be helping Trump. And as you can see from her tweets last weekend about Trump, she won't do anything to help the guy. And endorsing Bernie would do just that.
